I ordered complete suspension parts for Kia Sorento 2008, everything satisfactory. I received the correct parts and delivery is fast. Affordable prices and come in pretty quick. Also, I had to returned 2 lower Ball Joint that I don't need. Money was refunded to the credit card quickly. Will continue to use them..

Rockauto does not stand behind warranties or understand when they agree to a refund..
I got a partial refund for defective parts under warranty via Paypal as Rockauto would not pay return shipping and wanted me to pay to return defective parts under warranty. So I went to Paypal to get my $2.08 back for these parts. Rockauto agreed to the refund but now they want it back and will not ship my most recent order. Rockauto doesn't seem to understand the terms of use that they agreed to with Paypal. I tried to explain to them that they agreed to the refund but they all seem to stupid to understand this. I tried phoning Rockauto's head office but they don't even have a receptionist. No one at head office even answers the phone. Be very careful when dealing with Rockauto, they do not stand behind warranties and expect the buyer to pay return shipping on defective parts that are under warranty.

A bunch of orders over a almost 3w…
A bunch of orders over a almost 3w time… Both front outter and inner tie rods, pvc valve and hose, valve regulator, both rear forward control arms, both shock absorbers and coil Springs, both sway bar links, right rear knuckle, moog adjustment bolt/nut for forward control arms, axle nuts, cotter pins, and valve cover gasket kit… the issues I had was the threading on the moog bolt and nut kit was nut threading was messed up(the my refunded money and said keep the part). The first set of sway bar links was the wrong ones. I put one on before I realized, I sent them back(at no cost to me bc their mistake) and they sent the correct ones. I ordered a few other parts I expected to have to change and had to send them back, with was easy, dropped at local fedex drop off. They deduct shipping which is to be expected bc I ordered and there was no mistake on their part. I was skeptical at first bc the negative reviews but now they are my go too.. even ordered under hood and cabin air filter for me and my aunt and her wiper blades(they have a large selection). IME they get it correct 95 plus % of the time… and when they don’t it’s been easy to get stuff taken care of. Also, the stuff I’ve gotten has been in original manufacturing packaging(moog, beck/arnley, etc etc)

Ordered brake pads that didnot fit my…
Ordered brake pads that didnot fit my vehicule. rockauto doesnt take responsibility because the manufacturer says it fits...but it doesnt. only refunds part of the cost. Rockauto should ask the brake code of my vehicule because wranglers have different brake package depending on the model you have. they dont care...beware.

Ordered parts that said they fit my…
Ordered parts that said they fit my vehicles make and model. Had to return because I have no use for parts that do not fit my car. The pay in 4 plan was STILL trying to CHARGE ME even though i returned all the parts back to the seller. Doesn't make sense to pay for parts that are not in my possession anymore????? Will not use this again BEWARE.

Rockauto made it right
Purchased a replacement auxiliary battery for my BMW, the first one they shipped was cracked (not in shipping), but the return process was hassle free and they sent me a replacement the moment my return was on the way. I'm only deducting one star because the item should have been inspected prior to shipping and not sent cracked. Also, Fedex charged me $10 for pick-up as it is considered "dangerous goods" and don't accept it at the Fedex store. Would buy again from them.

I had an excellent experience with my purchase from Rock Auto. Initially, I was quite skeptical due to the negative reviews I came across while researching. However, my doubts were quickly dispelled. I ordered a replacement bumper for my vehicle, and to my surprise, it arrived within a day and a half, much faster than I had anticipated. What impressed me even more was that they provided me with an OEM bumper, despite no mention of it being OEM on the website. Rock Auto has now become my preferred website for purchasing auto parts.

RockAuto send me a part that did not…
RockAuto send me a part that did not fit my vehicle. Not only did they argue that it was my fault. The refused to pay for the shipping to send it back. I have contacted customer service many times with the same answer: not our fault. I will be making a complaint with my credit card company now. Avoid this company. Customer service used to be good. Now it is horrible. I will be posting on the forums too about this horrible experience.

Different Height Springs!
I ordered a pair of front springs for my car. I installed them, and one side of my car was lower than the other! I took them off and found they weren't the same height! I asked for my money back, but they would only replace the junk parts with junk parts plus I had to pay for return shipping. Don't buy from RA, it won't same money.

Ordered a AC Compressor magnetic clutch…
Ordered a AC Compressor magnetic clutch for my MX-5 and it's completely the wrong size. They initially gave my $15 because it was damaged, however they have broken all communication with me via email. Extremely poor customer resolution.

Waste of time
Waste of time They put choices in front of you and are so deceptive they should be sued. I see a part and it tells me 2 - 5 days delivery time. After ordering I see it's coming from Cali... really... you think it might make it in 2 days? Oh sure if you'd like to pay for overnight at 120 bucks a pop for a 12 dollar part. And they use DHL and list it as "mail" the slowest most yseless delivery company out there. Their tracking shows it's taken three days and still hasn't even left NJ!

I ordered 2 parts and paid for…
I ordered 2 parts and paid for overnight shipping to be received on a Friday afternoon. They arrived on the following Monday evening and both were the incorrect parts. After getting through the return of the incorrect parts they gave me I ended up receiving about half of my money back since they charged return shipping and still made me pay for overnight even though it took 4 days. I confirmed the part number with them and took pictures of their parts next to my old ones to prove they shipped the incorrect ones and it wasn’t an error on my end. I will never do business with this shady company again.

In serious need of people skills
In serious need of people skills, standing around nattering away whilst there is pool of customers waiting to be served. I had practically two identical keys to cut and he quoted 2 quid for one and 3 quid for another, fair enough so I proceeded to hand over the key that he quoted 2 quid, for the owner to say he can no longer do it and swiftly recommends 'tesco' key cutting technology, laughable I know. To hell with you, learn some customer skills and stop faffing around when there are customers waiting to be served. You are indeed an unscrupulous merchant, got it cut at 'KAMS Electrical & Hardware', in Yardley for a fraction of the price no tesco technology required!! I would just like to echo previous 1 star reviews the owner is obnoxious condescending, if your face doesn't fit he'll shoo you away. What is testamanent is his response to previous reviews, shoots himself in the foot by consistently demonstrating poor customer service skills. If I had disgruntled customers I would never respond in a way that would add fuel to the fire. The objective is to resolve not to escalate! Brush up on your people skills and quit it with your feeble attempts to blindly rip people off! Oh yeh and it's worth noting he only accepts cash! Law abiding citizen, I wonder. 🤔

I placed my first and last online order…
I placed my first and last online order with rockauto last week. I ordered a clutch kit and throwout bearing slave cylinder. The site claimed my card would not be charged until the order shipped which was a lie because my card was charged as soon as I placed the order. Then the next day I got a email saying some parts were actually not in stock like the system said. I did not respond right away and eventually one part shipped and I was told that the other part of my order is cancelled but my money has not been refunded to my card. On top of this the part that did arrive cost me about $140 in shipping, more than the part was worth. Now of course going through the site there is no way to contact them to try and sort this mess out. I did find a phone number on the site so I will be calling Monday morning to try and get my refund.
